1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use CURRIQ, you may enter personal information into your CVs and cover letters, including but not limited to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and postal address
• Work experience, education history, skills, and certifications
• Professional summaries, objectives, and other career-related content
• Profile photos (stored locally as base64-encoded image data within your CV)
• Per-CV language preference (English US, English UK, French Quebec, or French France)
• Job descriptions and company names for cover letter generation
• Job application tracking data (company names, position titles, dates, application status, notes)
• File attachments you voluntarily include with support requests (screenshots, exported documents)

Important: All CV, cover letter, job application, profile photo, credit balance, and credit usage history data you create is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and automatically synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit (see Section 3.5). We do not store your CV data on our servers and do not have access to it.

1.2 AI-Powered Features

When you use AI-powered features —including cover letter generation, CV content translation across 4 languages (EN-US, EN-GB, FR-QC, FR-FR), professional summary enhancement, CV parsing, and skills suggestions —portions of your CV data are transmitted to Anthropic's API (Claude) for processing. For cover letter generation, the job description you provide is also transmitted. Data is sent only when you explicitly initiate an AI feature. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review it at anthropic.com/privacy.

1.3 Subscription & Purchase Data

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses. Apple handles all payment processing. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

1.4 Credit Usage History

CURRIQ maintains a log of your AI credit usage on your device. This includes the type of action performed (such as AI write, CV import, or translation), the number of credits consumed or refunded, and the date and time of each transaction. This data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and, when iCloud is enabled, automatically synced to iCloud via CloudKit alongside your other app data. Credit usage data is never transmitted to our servers.

The log is maintained solely to provide you with a transparent record of your credit usage within the App. Credit usage logs are automatically limited to the most recent 100 entries.

1.5 Automatically Collected Information

We do not use third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising frameworks. We may receive anonymised, aggregated analytics from Apple if you have opted in to share analytics with app developers through your device settings. This data does not identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely for the following purposes:

• CV, Cover Letter, and Application Management: To enable you to build, edit, preview, export professional CVs and cover letters, and track job applications on your device.
• AI-Powered Features: To send relevant CV context to the Anthropic API for generating cover letters, translating CV content across 4 languages, enhancing professional summaries, and suggesting skills —only when you explicitly initiate these features.
• Subscription Management: To verify your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit framework and provide access to premium features accordingly.
• App Improvement: To improve the App's performance, features, and user experience based on anonymised usage patterns (if you have opted in through Apple).

3. Data Storage & Security

3.1 Local Storage

All user-created content (CVs, cover letters, job applications, profile photos, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is also automatically synced to your personal iCloud account (see Section 3.5 below).

3.2 No User Accounts

CURRIQ does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide login credentials. There are no user accounts, passwords, or authentication systems.

3.3 Data Transmission

Data leaves your device only in the following cases: (1) When you use AI-powered features (cover letter generation, CV translation, summary enhancement, skills suggestions), relevant CV data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connection to Anthropic's API. (2) When you submit a support request, priority support ticket, or feature suggestion via in-app forms, your name, email, message, any file attachments you include, and basic device metadata (app version, device model, OS version, language) are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to our API at api.innovalabworks.com hosted on Cloudflare Workers. (3) Your CV data is automatically synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit (see Section 3.5). No data is transmitted to our own servers or any other third party beyond those described here.

3.4 Security Measures

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

• All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Local data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• We do not maintain external databases of user information

3.5 iCloud Backup & Sync

CURRIQ uses Apple's CloudKit framework to automatically sync your CV, cover letter, job application, credit balance, and credit usage history data to your personal iCloud account. This provides:

• Backup: Your data is preserved in your iCloud account and can be restored if you reinstall the App.
• Sync: Your data stays up to date across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account.

This data is stored in your private iCloud container, managed entirely by Apple. InnovaLabWorks does not have access to your iCloud data and cannot read, modify, or delete it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can disable iCloud sync for CURRIQ at any time by going to your device's Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud and turning off CURRIQ. Disabling sync will not delete data already stored in iCloud. To delete your iCloud data, use the "Delete My Data" option in the App's Settings screen.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude API): Used for AI-powered cover letter generation, CV content translation, summary enhancement, and skills suggestions. Data is transmitted only when you explicitly use these features. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit: Used for processing in-app subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple CloudKit (iCloud): Used to sync and back up your CV, cover letter, job application, credit balance, and credit usage history data to your personal iCloud account. Data is stored in your private iCloud container, managed by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Workers (api.innovalabworks.com): Used to process support requests, priority support tickets, and feature wishlist submissions sent via in-app forms. Only the data you explicitly submit (name, email, message, device metadata) is transmitted. If you include file attachments with your support request (such as screenshots or exported documents), these are transmitted alongside your message via secure HTTPS and deleted after your request is resolved.

We do not use any advertising networks, social media SDKs, or third-party analytics tools.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We may disclose information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: When you explicitly choose to share or export your CV or cover letter (e.g., via PDF export, email, or AirDrop).
• AI processing: When you use the AI cover letter feature, relevant data is sent to Anthropic as described above.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

6. Children's Privacy

CURRIQ is not directed at children under the age of 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address the situation.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Because your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have full control over it at all times:

• Access & Export: You can view, edit, and export all your CV and cover letter data at any time through the App.
• Deletion: You can delete individual CVs or all data through the App's settings. The "Delete My Data" option removes data from both your device and your iCloud account.
• iCloud Opt-Out: You can disable iCloud sync for CURRIQ in your device's iCloud settings. This does not delete data already in iCloud.
• AI Feature Opt-Out: You can choose not to use AI-powered features. The App functions fully without them. You can withdraw AI consent at any time in Settings.

Under applicable privacy laws, including Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may have additional rights. 8. Data Retention

Your CV and cover letter data persists on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as the App is installed. We do not retain any copies of your data on our servers. When you delete a CV within the App, it is moved to the Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion from both your device and iCloud. Using "Delete My Data" in Settings permanently removes all data from your device and iCloud immediately. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data; iCloud data may persist until you delete it via "Delete My Data" before uninstalling or via iCloud storage management on your device.

9. International Data Transfers

When you use the AI cover letter feature, data may be processed by Anthropic's servers, which may be located outside of Canada. By using this feature, you consent to such transfer. All transfers are conducted over encrypted connections.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, District of Montreal.
