Scoring a round is quick and hole by hole. For each hole you set the par, the strokes, whether you hit the fairway or missed left or right, whether you hit the green, your putts, and a tag for the miss that shaped the hole: fat, thin, slice, hook, push, or pull. A season of those tags becomes a pattern, and the stats screen reads it back to you: your slice shows up on this many holes and cost about this many strokes over par.
