The PAO clock is the heart of it. Set the day you opened each product and GlamShelf counts down the months printed on its packaging, from a six month mascara to a two year powder. The shelf sorts by urgency, an expiring-soon card surfaces what needs attention, and optional nudges warn you 7, 14, or 30 days before a formula turns. A built-in PAO guide explains, category by category and in plain words, how long each kind of product really keeps and what going bad looks like.
The look journal remembers the good faces. Save a look with its photo, the occasion, and the exact products that built it, tagged straight off your shelf. Mark the keepers worth repeating and they float to the top when you need them again. Product links survive retirement: when a tagged product is later finished, the look keeps its name.
When a product runs out, the exit interview takes five seconds: finished or decluttered, would you buy it again, one honest note. The empties log becomes the memory your next haul consults, with months in use for every finish. The repurchase list gathers flagged favorites and the empties that earned a second bottle; the declutter list queues what should leave, and a Let It Go flow moves it out with its story kept.
Stats turn the shelf into answers: products by category, shelf value by brand from your own prices, the expiry mix at a glance, empties per month, your would-repurchase rate, and the hardest working products ranked by how many looks they built.
