Routines That Make Practice Count

Build a routine from timed steps, each tagged with a focus area: warm-up, chords, scales, technique, songs, rhythm, theory, or ear training. Start it as a checklist and the session timer tracks your time. Two ready-made routines are built in to start you off.

A Metronome and a Chord-change Speed Test

A real metronome with tap tempo, an accented downbeat, adjustable beats per measure, and Italian tempo markings from Largo to Presto. The chord-change speed test times you switching between any two chords and scores your changes per minute, then keeps your record and charts the trend so you can see the improvement.

A Real Chord and Scale Library

Not placeholder rows: real fingered chord diagrams for open majors and minors, dominant, major, and minor 7ths, and movable barre shapes, each with the notes and a playing tip. Twelve scales, from the major and minor pentatonics to the modes and harmonic minor, spelled correctly for any of twelve roots, with the interval formula and the whole-and-half-step pattern.

Streaks and Stats That Add Up

Log every session and FretDaily tracks your current and longest streak, total practice time, minutes per week, and a breakdown of your time by focus area. The more you practice, the more your history is worth.

A Repertoire That Tracks Itself
