Effective: 1 July 2026
Rangeline is built to be private by default. This policy explains what happens to your information.
On-device data (not collected). Everything you enter — legal land descriptions, coordinates, favourites, notes, history, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it. You can delete it at any time in the app.
Location. If you use "What LSD am I on?" or centre the map on your position, Rangeline reads your device location only on the device to compute the surrounding legal subdivision. Your location is never uploaded, shared, or retained by us. You can grant or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases. Rangeline is a one-time purchase billed through your App Store account. We do not receive your payment card details.
Support & feature requests (the only data we collect). The app includes built-in Support, Bug-report and Feature-request forms. When you submit one, we receive the message you write and, if you provide them, your name and email address (email is optional for feature requests). This information is transmitted securely to our servers and used solely to handle your request and reply to you — never for advertising, profiling or tracking, and never sold or shared. We retain submissions only as long as needed to help you.
Rangeline is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Because your data lives on your device, you control it directly: delete individual items, or remove the app to erase everything. For questions about support emails, contact us below.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
