MeterMinder: Home Meters

Read your home meters, and finally see what they are telling you. MeterMinder turns the numbers on your electricity, gas, and water dials into something useful. Log a reading whenever you check the meter, and MeterMinder works out how much you used, how much a day that is, what it costs at the rate you set, and whether a period ran unusually high. Everything stays on your iPhone. There is no account, no meter or utility connection, and no tracking. Every number comes from readings you enter yourself. What you can do - Track your electricity, gas, and water meters in one place - See usage per day and per period, computed for you between readings - Estimate the cost from your own per-unit rate, per period and per month - Catch a spike: MeterMinder flags any period running well above your usual daily use - Set a monthly reminder so a reading never slips - Export a usage and cost history as a PDF report and a CSV An estimate, not a bill Cost figures are estimates computed from the per-unit rate you enter. They do not include taxes, fixed charges, or tiered pricing your utility may apply, and they are never presented as a bill. Free and Pro MeterMinder is free to track a couple of meters, with usage per day and per period and the spike-flagging trend chart included.
