CrownBox Privacy Policy (updated 2026-10-03)

Your collection. Watch details, photos, original documents, wear and service history, wishes, trips, condition notes, timekeeping entries and saved PDFs are stored on your device. CrownBox configures synchronization through your private Apple iCloud database when available. Availability depends on your Apple Account, connection and storage. If iCloud cannot be configured at launch, the app identifies local storage. InnovaLabWorks does not have access to your private iCloud collection. CrownBox has no studio account, advertising, in-app analytics or tracking SDK.

Selected photos and documents. The system photo picker and file picker provide the items you choose, not your whole library or folder. Imported originals can contain metadata such as a photo’s location or a document’s author. CrownBox keeps original bytes and creates smaller display images on the device. It does not upload your collection to our support service. You remain responsible for the information and rights in the files you add.

Reminders. CrownBox asks permission when you enable notifications. Reminder dates remain in your records if you decline. Alerts are scheduled locally, use generic text, and do not show watch names, serial numbers or destinations on the lock screen. Turn reminders or badges off in the app, or withdraw notification permission in system Settings. System settings and Focus can affect delivery.

PDFs, sharing and backups. PDFs are generated on the device from your selections. Serial numbers, private value and purchase information and private notes are excluded by default; review the privacy choices before sharing. A document you explicitly attach is included as its original pages and may contain sensitive information. Sharing an original photo keeps its metadata. A complete backup includes your records and original attachments. The share sheet sends the chosen file to the app or recipient you select. Copies outside CrownBox follow that destination’s privacy rules and are not removed by deleting records in CrownBox.

Support. Only when you tap Send service ticket, the optional name, reply email, topic and message you enter are sent to InnovaLabWorks. The form shows the app version, build, bundle identifier, device type, operating system, language and region, storage mode and bounded storage error codes before sending. Collection records, photos, documents, file paths and full system error descriptions are not automatically attached. Avoid putting passwords or unrelated sensitive information in your message. Web support forms send the fields you enter. We use this information to handle your request and diagnose issues, not for advertising or sale. Submitting a ticket does not subscribe you to marketing.

Support providers and retention. Cloudflare operates the support endpoint and security controls; ClickUp stores support tickets. Email services, including Brevo and any configured alert provider, process support communications. Technical request information can be processed for security and abuse prevention. Providers may process information outside Quebec and Canada. Support records are retained as needed to resolve a request, keep relevant service history and meet legal obligations; uninstalling CrownBox does not delete them. A failed ticket delivery may be kept in the support endpoint’s recovery inbox for up to 90 days. Support emails may use delivery and open tracking for follow-up; an image load does not prove a person read the email.

Purchases. Apple handles payments and purchase history. CrownBox uses Apple’s verified purchase information to unlock access. We do not receive your payment-card number.

Retention and deletion. Collection records stay until you delete them. CrownBox keeps a verified local recovery copy before opening an existing store, with at most the current and preceding complete generations after a successful backup. Delete All My Data in Settings removes collection records and local recovery copies; private iCloud deletion depends on available sync. Removing the app alone does not reliably delete iCloud copies. Device backups, exports and recipients’ copies are controlled separately. Delete records and copies you no longer need, and keep independent backups of records you cannot replace.

Your choices and contact. Use the Privacy request option in the Collector Desk, or https://innovalabworks.com/a/crownbox/support, to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent for information we handle. We may need to retain information required by law or an unresolved dispute. InnovaLabWorks (9547-8715 Quebec Inc.), Montreal, Canada, is responsible for its support information.
