BlindLog Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Who we are. BlindLog is published by 9547-8715 Québec inc. (InnovaLabWorks), Montréal, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

Your journal stays with you. Your stands, sits, sightings, notes, gear list and sit photos are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, BlindLog also keeps a copy in your private iCloud database so your journal syncs across your iPhone, iPad and Mac. iCloud is Apple's service and belongs to your own Apple Account. InnovaLabWorks cannot see or read it, and your journal is never sent to us. If iCloud is off or unavailable, your journal stays only on your device.

No accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. The BlindLog app has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It does not use your location. We never sell or rent your information.

Contact Support: the only information that reaches us. When you tap Send in Contact Support, we receive the topic, the name you enter (optional), your email, your message, and technical details the app adds to help us fix problems: the app version and build, app identifier, device model, iOS version and language/region. Your journal and photos are never attached. We use this only to answer and resolve your request, never for marketing or advertising.

Who handles support messages for us. Cloudflare receives the message. ClickUp stores it as a support ticket. Ticket updates and replies may be sent through Brevo, our email provider, with a private link to your ticket page, and a copy goes to our support inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). That page shows only the app, your ticket number, a short title and the status. Brevo may record when a link in these emails is clicked. These providers may process information outside Québec and Canada and only process it to provide these services to us.

How long we keep support messages. If our ticket system is unavailable, a backup copy is kept by Cloudflare for up to 90 days. Support tickets and emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a record of it, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Purchases. Apple processes all payments. We never see your payment details.

Deleting your data. In Settings, Delete All My Data permanently erases every stand, sit, sighting, note, gear item and photo from this device and from your private iCloud, and your other devices erase the same data when they next sync. It also clears display preferences and any PDF or CSV files BlindLog created for sharing. This cannot be undone. It does not cancel a subscription or remove a purchase, which you manage in your Apple Account. Deleting the app alone may not delete your iCloud copy. Copies in your own device backups follow your backup settings. Delete All My Data does not delete support messages you already sent; ask us through Contact Support and we will delete them.

Children. BlindLog is not directed to children. Children should not send us messages without a parent or guardian.

Your rights. Under Québec's privacy law (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA, you may ask to access or correct your personal information, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. To contact our person in charge of privacy, use Contact Support and choose Privacy request. We answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Changes. If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
